Now that I am a widow, I find it amusing and touching that some feel that I am an object of pity. They are trying to be kind, but their kindness is misdirected. I have wonderful family, great friends and many people with whom I socialize. I like the freedom I have. I loved my husband very much. He is with the Father and I am in another place in my life. As with you, sometimes this is a break to be treasured.
