You’re going to fall head over heels in love with these quick and easy Shrimp Bites! They’re super addictive and the perfect finger food appetizer for any gathering!

Yes, there’s a lot happening here but it’s such an easy recipe, I promise. You can even bake the wonton cups ahead of time, and if you’re really short on time, you can also use store-bought guacamole

Who can’t use one more easy appetizer? you can never have too many easy appetizer recipes. When it comes to making appetizers for a party I’ve learned that easy is best. Keeping your sanity and being in a good mood when guests show up is far better than having a complicated appetizer that took you half the day to make and that your guests will never know or probably care that it took that long to make. All anyone cares about is eating food that tastes good, having fun and in this case watching the big game. These Shrimp Bites are both quick and easy to make and include a couple shortcuts you can take to make them even easier.

Once the shrimp are cooked which only takes about two minutes, put them on a plate to cool. Now to the shortcuts for these Shrimp Bites. The first is the wonton cups that hold the shrimp and act as the taco shell. I made my cups a day in advance and stored them in an airtight container. They don’t take long to make if you are doing it the day of, but it’s always nice to have one less step the day of the party. If you’re really rushed you could also serve these in mini phyllo cups that you get in the freezer section of the store or the little scoop tortilla chips would work as well

I would call these little puffs of deliciousness and so much fun to make- and eat. Of course, you can take the swirly cute Unicorn Colors and mix up the colors and flavors to something different to match your party or holiday, but these are by far the best in my book (and a easy recipe) to top it off.

Well now you have to give these a go, because they are just too fun and pretty to leave on the screen. Besides that, meringues are so much easier to make than people think. There are few ingredients and the technique is simple and requires no fussy tools. In fact, the only things you have to be mindful of are patience and knowing your visual cue of readiness.

Come on now! You guys all KNEW this one was coming, right?  and I made my most favorite flavor ever – cherry! Now, obviously you could use whatever flavor of extract your heart desires.  Strawberry, cherry, vanilla, rum, banana…you get the idea, yes?

Now if you’re like one of those super moms, you could totally make multiple flavors and be the talk of the town. Strawberry pink gummies, cherry red gummies, pina colada white gummies. Just threw that in there.

Now I want to make pina colada gummies. Shoot! or maybe be on the beach with a pina colada whatever you get the idea!

My kids LOVE these yes even more than the 50 varieties they have @ the grocery store. And when we have extra we always freeze a few and it’s the best late night guilt free snack ever!!

Happy getting closer to Friday friends! Its almost the weekend, which is always a reason to celebrate! These pudding sugar cookie cups are the perfect quick and easy dessert. They are great for a celebration or for any occasion because they are simple and delicious! You can create for any occasion these are Christmas themed.

Sugar cookies are so very versatile!  Not only can they be basic rolled out dough, but the dough can be transformed into these cute little cups.  Just waiting for the perfect filling.  I chose some cute red and green fun!!

The cookie cups baked until just golden so they remain super soft, melt-in-your-mouth chewy.

These were a definite win in our house.  The fun of making cookies with the kids, super cute, and not as much time spent on decorating them.  Plus there’s still the fun of adding sprinkles & getting them EVERYWHERE!!

 Seeing as how we’re exactly less than 2 weeks away from Christmas (crazy!!), I think it’s time that I start inundating you with holiday recipes. It is my favorite baking season after all! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! OK not really it’s still high 50’s in Georgia, but my kitchen sure did smell like Christmas today

Supremely moist and decadent chocolate cupcakes topped with peppermint mocha frosting, a drizzle of chocolate, and crushed candy canes. ← Can you think of a sweeter way to kick off the holiday season?

I’ve had this cupcake idea up my sleeve for months. But I wanted to wait until after Thanksgiving to make them. After our belies are filled with turkey and when Christmas music is “allowed” to be played. I’m so excited because I have my kids on board they always say “Mom find a Christmas song or Christmas movie” I have successfully succeed in the kid department!!

How can one honestly resist? Just look at all of this chocolate! Peppermint mochas are a seasonal favorite, but the combination of chocolate, mint, and coffee is on my mind all year long.

However, there is just something about this delectable combination of flavors when the snow is falling, family is playing, & presents are hiding in the closets. Nothing compares to sipping on a warm coffee drinks during Christmas time. Unless, of course, you’re eating peppermint mocha in the form of a cupcake. NOTHING compares to that.

I’m a huge fan of “Christmas flavors”. You know… the ones we look forward to indulging in all year long. Like eggnog, gingerbread, cranberry, snickerdoodle, pumpkin, and of course, peppermint mocha.

Even as an adult, I still love candy canes. I especially like to crush them up and use them to sprinkle on cookies, cupcakes and So Delicious ice cream. Oh yes, a frozen peppermint treat! so have fun with the extra!!!!

I’ve always loved maraschino cherries.

As a kid in my Shirley Temples, as an adult in my Cocktails, and they’re front and center in my awesome cute pink cherry cookies!!

Soft, buttery, pink cookies with the surprise of a juicy, sweet maraschino cherry in the middle that also helps keep the cookies moist. The cherry juice glaze boosts the cherry flavor even more.

I also like to add a little variety when decorating them.  I like to dip a few , I like to drizzle a few and I like to dip and sprinkle some.  For goodness sake have fun with it.  Cookies are all about fun.  These cookies freeze well for your holiday party.  Just store them in airtight containers with wax paper between the layers and they will be good for about 2 months!

These little cookies are really too simple to mix together-it’s a basic recipe with a little added boost of maraschino cherries in the batter with some cream cheese.  I think the addition of mini chocolate chips to the mix might be on the list for next time.

If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s nutella right out of the jar. I can’t imagine how many times I sat there and ate one spoonful after the other while telling myself “okay.. this is the last one!”. Nutella is extremely addictive, and you know what’s more addictive? These delicious nutella thumbprint cookies.

If your in the pantry scratching your head right now, don’t worry. All you need is a few things. These babies are super easy to make and can be prepared and baked in 30 minutes.

Named for the way the indentation in the center is made with your thumb, these popular cookies are filled with a pool of nutella.

Again, with these cookies, I took a classic thumbprint recipe and just substituted Nutella for the jam. It’s as simple as that.

Well, you probably don’t need me to tell you how good these were, because, I mean, how could they not be?  But, yes, they were quite scrumptious and a lovely little celebratory treat for those of us spending our nights and days hovering, feeding and taking care of little humans.

Is there anything more comforting than a mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter day? How about a glass of thick, rich eggnog while sitting next to a crackling fire? Guess what, it finally dipped below 70 degrees here in Georgia. Yippee!

You know what that means. . . I can actually enjoy all of the winter activities and traditions. Like hot chocolate and warm fuzzy clothes. I just love a mug of hot chocolate on a cold day, especially after months of 100+ degree weather!

I don’t always know when the craving is going to hit me. Luckily my 9 to 5 has Keurig’s placed everywhere. For hot chocolate, just heat and serve.

Every year I host a fun hot chocolate bar for me, my mom, my sisters and the kids it’s so fun and neat we love traditions around here. And this is always the favorite treat! It’s so easy and actually really cute that sounds crazy I know but I look cute and neat looking foods/treats.

Fudge Perfection!

Over the years my sisters and I found recipes that we each of us would enjoy making. They became “our recipes” in a sense that we individually were the ones to make it during the special occasion or holidays. This may be where my idea for having the kids take turns trying a new recipe on the weekends stemmed from. I loved having recipes that I made with my mother alone, it was a great way to bond with each us individually. From early on my favorite recipe was marshmallow fudge.

Fall is my favorite season. I love the mild weather, the gorgeous colors of the changing leaves, and the warm, comforting smell and taste of fall’s most popular flavor — pumpkin spice.

Of course, aside from the satisfying fall flavor, the best thing about Starbucks’ pumpkin spice latte is the coffee! When I said this cupcake is the edible version of a pumpkin spice latte, I meant it.

I haven’t made it a secret that I’m a coffee lover. I’ve been sharing recipes for this Nutella Frappuccino and this Hazelnut Frappuccino.

AND I have an espresso frosted brownie coming up soon! For me, the addition of coffee as an ingredient in my kitchen has been a wonderful part of my foodie creations.

I also love drinking it. (Daily)

And I’m equally obsessed with fall. as you can see since I’ve been baking up Pull Apart Pumpkin Bread and putting together Mini Indian Harvest Pumpkin bundles.

 These Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes are a great copycat of the popular Starbucks fall drink. The pumpkin, coffee, and spices go together so well. And who can resist a cute cupcake with a fun straw?

Fall seems to be all about the Pumpkin Spice. While I love a piping hot coffee as much as anyone, what if you could combine all those flavors into a baked good?

Well I just did! These Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes  contain real pumpkin and a punch of real coffee. You may want to eat these pumpkin spice cupcakes for breakfast, and that’s fine with me. No judging here!

So now you can have your Pumpkin Spice Latte, and eat it too.

How to Make Pumpkin Spice Latte Cupcakes 

 Ready to get started? Okay, first make sure you have all the necessary ingredients.

Ingredients Needed for the Cupcakes:

• 1 box of Perfectly Pumpkin Cake Mix
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 cup unsalted sweet cream butter (softened)
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup whole milk
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup strong coffee
• Fall cupcake liners

Ingredients Needed for the Cream Cheese Frosting:

• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 1/2 cup room temperature butter
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 4 to 5 cups powdered sugar
• Paper straws and pumpkin pie spice for decoration

Step 1: Prepare

Before we get to baking, we need to preheat the oven (set it to 350 degrees). We also need to line two muffin tins with cupcake liners.

Step 2: Make Cake Batter

Next, combine all of the cupcake ingredients EXCEPT the coffee in the bowl of your stand mixer. If you don’t have one, you can simply use a large bowl and regular hand mixer. Beat on medium speed until smooth (about two minutes). Now it’s time to add the coffee. Stir it into the batter to slowly incorporate it.

Step 3: Bake Cupcakes

Fill the cupcake liners 3/4 full with the batter. Bake for 16 to 20 minutes. You’ll know the cupcakes are done when you can insert a knife into the center of one and it comes out clean.

Step 4: Prepare Frosting

Set the cupcakes aside on a wire rack to cool while you make the frosting.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together on high speed for 2 minutes using your machine’s whisk attachment. Then, add the vanilla extract and four cups of powdered sugar. If the frosting is too thin, slowly add more powdered sugar until it reaches your desired consistency.

Step 5: Frost Cupcakes

Make sure you let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting them, otherwise, you’ll end up with a runny mess.

Once they’re completely cool to the touch, spoon the frosting into a Ziploc bag (you can also use pastry bags if you have them) and snip off the corner. Pipe the frosting onto each cupcake.

Finally, insert a straw into each cupcake and sprinkle on some pumpkin pie spice.

These pumpkin spice latte cupcakes are the perfect autumn dessert. The best fall drink as a cupcake!

Prep Time 15 minutes

Cook Time 20 minutes

Additional Time 10 minutes

Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 box of Perfectly Pumpkin Cake Mix
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/2 C. unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 C. whole milk
• 1/2 C. sour cream
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1/4 C. strong coffee

Cream Cheese Frosting

Toggle ingredient group

• 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1/2 C. butter, room temperature
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 4-5 C. powdered sugar
• straws and pumpkin pie spice for decoration

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line pans with cupcake liners.
   
2. Combine cake mix, butter, eggs. milk, cinnamon, vanilla, sour cream in a large standing mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
   
3. Stir in coffee (make it as strong as you want your "latte" cupcakes to be).
   
4. Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full and bake for 16-20 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
   
5. Let cool.
   
6. Beat cream cheese and butter for 2 minutes. Add vanilla extract and slowly add in powdered sugar until thickened.
   
7. Pipe frosting onto cupcakes and sprinkle pumpkin pie spice and top with a straw.

This is an easy recipe, You start with a can of biscuits. The “pull-apart” is created when you slice each biscuit in half and stack them (with filling in the middle), then bake them in a loaf pan. You can pull apart the layers, hence the name.

I’ve also made pull-apart loaves with all kinds of ingredients. I love them – they’re so much fun (and, in the case of this one, so easy!)

The pumpkin mixture is just some canned pumpkin puree mixed with an egg for binding, sugar for sweetness, and spices. I used pumpkin pie spice because it’s just easier than pulling out all the other spices (I’m so lazy/smart).

I also dipped each slice of biscuit in cinnamon sugar before sandwiching them with the pumpkin mixture. It gives the layers a nice crunch, and then the entire thing is drenched with cinnamon glaze.
