You’re going to fall head over heels in love with these quick and easy Shrimp Bites! They’re super addictive and the perfect finger food appetizer for any gathering!

Yes, there’s a lot happening here but it’s such an easy recipe, I promise. You can even bake the wonton cups ahead of time, and if you’re really short on time, you can also use store-bought guacamole

Who can’t use one more easy appetizer? you can never have too many easy appetizer recipes. When it comes to making appetizers for a party I’ve learned that easy is best. Keeping your sanity and being in a good mood when guests show up is far better than having a complicated appetizer that took you half the day to make and that your guests will never know or probably care that it took that long to make. All anyone cares about is eating food that tastes good, having fun and in this case watching the big game. These Shrimp Bites are both quick and easy to make and include a couple shortcuts you can take to make them even easier.

Once the shrimp are cooked which only takes about two minutes, put them on a plate to cool. Now to the shortcuts for these Shrimp Bites. The first is the wonton cups that hold the shrimp and act as the taco shell. I made my cups a day in advance and stored them in an airtight container. They don’t take long to make if you are doing it the day of, but it’s always nice to have one less step the day of the party. If you’re really rushed you could also serve these in mini phyllo cups that you get in the freezer section of the store or the little scoop tortilla chips would work as well

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! OK not really it’s still high 50’s in Georgia, but my kitchen sure did smell like Christmas today

Supremely moist and decadent chocolate cupcakes topped with peppermint mocha frosting, a drizzle of chocolate, and crushed candy canes. ← Can you think of a sweeter way to kick off the holiday season?

I’ve had this cupcake idea up my sleeve for months. But I wanted to wait until after Thanksgiving to make them. After our belies are filled with turkey and when Christmas music is “allowed” to be played. I’m so excited because I have my kids on board they always say “Mom find a Christmas song or Christmas movie” I have successfully succeed in the kid department!!

How can one honestly resist? Just look at all of this chocolate! Peppermint mochas are a seasonal favorite, but the combination of chocolate, mint, and coffee is on my mind all year long.

However, there is just something about this delectable combination of flavors when the snow is falling, family is playing, & presents are hiding in the closets. Nothing compares to sipping on a warm coffee drinks during Christmas time. Unless, of course, you’re eating peppermint mocha in the form of a cupcake. NOTHING compares to that.

I’m a huge fan of “Christmas flavors”. You know… the ones we look forward to indulging in all year long. Like eggnog, gingerbread, cranberry, snickerdoodle, pumpkin, and of course, peppermint mocha.

Even as an adult, I still love candy canes. I especially like to crush them up and use them to sprinkle on cookies, cupcakes and So Delicious ice cream. Oh yes, a frozen peppermint treat! so have fun with the extra!!!!

The most common question I’m asked isn’t about how I became a blogger, how I met my hot husband, or even “how are you today?” it’s “how do you do your daughter’s hair?”

Ok, one of those questions may be a little more popular, but not when it comes to my blog. Biracial hair care & mixed hair care has become a hot topic. People ask me this “HOT” question in person, by E-Mail, on Facebook, Instagram literally EVERYWHERE!

What I’ve leaned from all these moms is that biracial hair – which is not a “tech” term, because let’s be honest hair is hair… not a race – it’s more than just a beauty routine. It’s more about the combo of cultures, and a deep desire to raise up happy kids with hair they love.

My #1 general answer to that is SoCozy. Yes, I strongly believe in the products I use and believe me I’ve tried TONS!

SoCozy, is a line of salon formulate products for kids between the ages of 2 and 12 years old now sold at Target. Their products are non-toxic, made without parabens, formaldehyde, sulfates, phthalates, synthetic color, propylene glycol and free of alcohol, gluten, wheat, peanuts and tree nuts.

 1. Get SoCozy “curl” products.

2. Use a T-shirt to “towel dry” hair it makes the curls so much softer.

3. Get a “wet” brush.

4. Want loose curls let it air dry.

5. A silk pillow case work WONDERS!

6. The SoCozy Curl products I use are amazing in the tangle department I don’t even use a detangle now.

7. The SoCozy gel I use is the 100% best on FRIZZ!!! Yes, some Frizz is to be expected but make sure your expectations are even reachable not all bi-racial hair has the same texture. But when it comes to frizz this is the go to for us.

8. Use a deep condition weekly.

9. And my last tip don’t let it STRESS you out!!! Embrace the CURLS.

It’s important to remember that it’s about the products not so much the process.

I’ve always used the same process so I’m my hands on and tried past it’s definitely the products that has made such a difference for us!

If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s nutella right out of the jar. I can’t imagine how many times I sat there and ate one spoonful after the other while telling myself “okay.. this is the last one!”. Nutella is extremely addictive, and you know what’s more addictive? These delicious nutella thumbprint cookies.

If your in the pantry scratching your head right now, don’t worry. All you need is a few things. These babies are super easy to make and can be prepared and baked in 30 minutes.

Named for the way the indentation in the center is made with your thumb, these popular cookies are filled with a pool of nutella.

Again, with these cookies, I took a classic thumbprint recipe and just substituted Nutella for the jam. It’s as simple as that.

Well, you probably don’t need me to tell you how good these were, because, I mean, how could they not be?  But, yes, they were quite scrumptious and a lovely little celebratory treat for those of us spending our nights and days hovering, feeding and taking care of little humans.

Make pumpkin bread like this once and you’ll make it over and over! Imagine cinnamon rolls + pumpkin pie + an irresistible cinnamon glaze and you have this pull-apart pumpkin bread! This recipe is a hit everywhere it goes. Everything about it is good from the melt-in-your mouth soft centers to the glaze that melts into every groove. You’ll want this glaze on all your baked goods. It’s truly THAT AMAZING!

This is sure to become a Fall favorite in your home as well. The kids and adults love it and you don’t even have to slice it! Portions easily pull apart from the loaf to expose gorgeous swirls of pumpkin spice. P.S. Make extra and enjoy it when you wake up in the morning!!

If you’re still here, thank you. I’m glad. You won’t be sad, because this pull-apart loaf is to die for. It’s like eating pumpkin pie for breakfast, no joke.

This is an easy recipe, You start with a can of biscuits. The “pull-apart” is created when you slice each biscuit in half and stack them (with filling in the middle), then bake them in a loaf pan. You can pull apart the layers, hence the name.

I’ve also made pull-apart loaves with all kinds of ingredients. I love them – they’re so much fun (and, in the case of this one, so easy!)

The pumpkin mixture is just some canned pumpkin puree mixed with an egg for binding, sugar for sweetness, and spices. I used pumpkin pie spice because it’s just easier than pulling out all the other spices (I’m so lazy/smart).

I also dipped each slice of biscuit in cinnamon sugar before sandwiching them with the pumpkin mixture. It gives the layers a nice crunch, and then the entire thing is drenched with cinnamon glaze.

THE DRIZZLE:

Mix well heat a little and pour baby pour!!!

I’m always on the lookout for a cookie recipe that freezes well because let’s be honest, a frozen cookie after 10:00 p.m. at night is one of the best treats, like, ever. Every time I visit my mom, she has something in her freezer that we all know to go looking for!

I whipped up a batch of these chocolate chip coconut cookies just last night and they are gone!

Completely and utterly and sadly gone.

Next time I will make many extra so I can freeze a couple dozen for my snacking habits.

If you’re all about consistency in cookie size, then grab a cookie scoop. My favorite is a medium cookie scoop, but if you’re counting calories, you may want to go with a small cookie scoop.

Freezing cookies are defiantly one of my favorites and I was surprised with how awesome this one did!! Especially the coconut the texture was still perfect!

What You Need:

• ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
• ¾ cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2+ cups all-purpose flour (you will need the extra when you roll out your dough)
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• Pinch of salt
• Food coloring (3 different colors – we prefer using gel colors because of its saturated shades)
• Buttercream icing
• Sprinkles to decorate

How To Create:

1. Using a medium-sized bowl and an electric mixer machine, combine butter, sugar, and egg until you reach a creamy consistency..
2. Mix in your vanilla and mix well. Set aside.
3. In another medium-sized bowl, combine all of your dry ingredients (use only 2 cups of the flour… again, the rest will be for rolling out your dough)
4. Combine your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients one third at a time.
5. Separate your dough in three balls: a large one for your large cookies, a medium one for the cookie stacked in-between, and a small ball for your smallest cookie. Color each one with your color of choice.
6. Wrap each dough ball separately in clear-wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
7. Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
8. Once chilling time is complete, roll out the dough until about ¼ of an inch thick and cut out your preferred shapes with a cookie cutter. Line an inch apart on your cookie sheet and bake for about 8 to
9. 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
10. Stack your cookies from largest to smallest using buttercream. Top your smallest cookie with buttercream and add sprinkles to decorate.

My kids LOVED helping with these.

This is my favorite cookie I have created so far!

What You Need:

• 2 cups white or yellow cake mix
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 stick of butter
• ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 bag of white chocolate chips
• ½ cup sprinkles, divided

How To Create:

1. Spray or line an 8×8 baking pan. Set aside.
2. Mix your cake mix and powdered sugar in a medium mixing bowl.
3. Add your cream and butter and microwave for 90 seconds, or until butter is completely melted.
4. Add in your chips and ½ of your sprinkles. Mix gently. Pour mixture into your baking pan.
5. Top with remaining sprinkles. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until very firm. Remove from baking pan and cut into squares. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

• Fake Succulents (Dollar Tree)
• Scissors

How To Create:

1. If you have a used wreath like me get all the material off and toss it.
2. Cut the stems off the fake succulents
3. Place where you want them and hot glue them down
