This week I have the mama behind Chocolate N Children featured !! Not only do I love connecting with other blogs I especially enjoy other moms that blog !! Her blog is great it has foodie post, giveaways, and all things lifestyle. In my thoughts a blogger is never “to big” to connect and enjoy others so let’s show Jenny love today !!!

I’m a work from home Mom with 3 kids 6, 4, and 2. I freelance small business websites and graphic design, as well as handle all the paperwork for my husband’s small business.

I love to read. I like the classics like Charles Dickens and I like adventures and sci fi. I also enjoy cooking, sewing, and yoga. I love coffee, chocolate, and BBQ ribs.

I’m homeschooling and this year I’ve joined a co-op and I’ll be teaching in my daughter’s class. I’m excited and nervous at the same time because this is so new for me.

Why you blog. – for me, blogging is a creative outlet. It lets me express myself and share with other’s what I’m doing.

I’m currently doing a weekly “Food Friday’s” on my blog. I’m sharing recipes that I’m creating with my weekly CSA boxes. Just knowing that I have to write about something every week motivates me to be more intentional and creative when creating dinner for my family.

After school starts, I’m planning to start a series on homeschooling. My oldest is starting 2nd grade this year and we’re ready for a bit more challenge this year. Knowing that I have to share something every week is going to push me to be a bit more creative every week.

We’re living in our newlywed nest in the midwest,
but deep down i’m a Mountain girl at heart

Blogging started off as just a way to document life & has turned into a really fun hobby

pregnancy updates, [ soon to baby updates/pictures]
things on my heart or the recently new feature Buzz Worthy Wednesday
are some things to expect when purusing my posts.

I love “meeting” new people
reading their thoughts/genius things they come up with

As well as following along with peoples families

I have a particular love for Honeycombs/Bees, red fox, Peonies & polka dots

I am definitely a tea fanatic but the occasional frappe will do in a pinch

Neon orange is my favorite color to paint my toes

Dancing in the kitchen while i cook is a regular thing

I take tons of pictures, & dream of doing all the DIY projects

Oh, and i ‘m currently craving a popsicle

Basically i’m a quirky, fun & sometimes sassy lady

that loves life, the Lord & her family

You can take the girl out of the South, but you can’t take the South out of the girl! Hi y’all, I’m Jen. I’m a 30-something Southern girl from Kentucky. I moved to Los Angeles a year ago this month, just me and my furchild Cooper.

I started my blog as a way for my friends and family to keep up with my adventures. I blog about everything from my crazy transition to this city, dating, life with my doggy, any and everything in between. Life is what happens over here!

I am thoroughly enjoying the weather and beautiful landscape of Southern California. The hiking trails are amazing and of course the beach and mountains. There’s so much to explore here and I can’t wait to share it all!

Hey y’all Betsy here from a little place called Happily Ever After, Etc.! I fell in live with blogging many years ago…back before I ever published a post. I started to read blogs and I just knew that this was for me! I have always loved to write, to tell a story and blogging gives me the perfect outlet to share my little piece of the world with all of you. Of, course, the only thing I love more then blogging (besides my family, hi Honey!) Is decorating. I love making my home warm, cozy and (of course) glamorous to a fault! When I moved into my 1st little home with my hubby I knew the time was right to finally start blogging… To share my home decorating adventures with all of the bloggers that I had come to love. I love to share what I’m decorating and the next cooky project I’ve mixed up.

I truly believe I am living my very own version of Happily Ever After…etc. I have the handsome prince (who thinks the end of the bed is the dirty clothes bin and ketchup doesn’t need to be refrigerated (eeew!) The majestic castle (3 bedrooms is majestic for us after the one bedroom apartment we shared in Colorado) unfortunately the singing woodland creatures are missing but I do have the cutest little yorkie and kitten combo around! My little world isn’t exactly what I pictured growing up… But now that I’m “grown” well it’s just about perfect….etc
