DIY Repurposed Quote Globe

This was so much fun ! Definitely my top 5 crafts I have ever created. Lately I have been seeing these amazing unique globe with quotes everywhere ! And I was so smitten I had to make one ASAP ! And I did it for so cheap ! It came out exactly like I wanted it. I plan on making more in different colors and quotes…

This globe was given to me by a co-worker but I recently bought 2 more on E-bay for super cheap so look there if you can’t find one at Goodwill or another thrift store.

My house is a mix of everything I love from beaded pillows, dream catchers, pioneer woman bowls, candles, succulents and now a neat globe it added so much personality and people always look @ it and ask me about it. Next I want on with flowers and brown colors.

What You Need:

Globe

Paint

Stencils (or freehand)

Paint Brush

How To Create:

(These Are My Directions But Change To Your Liking)

Take Globe off base.

Spray paint the base and the globe

Let dry very good

Outline your letter with a pencil

Fill in letters

I added my dots with a circle foam brush

Spray whole thing with a protective seal.

Holy fun amzing canvas painting party was a huge hit !!! My daughter is 6 and this hear the theme I picked was by far my favorite. “Ca’Rin’s Canvas.

Every year I pick something neat and different and truly enjoy doing it ! All

Follow along for all the amazing details and pictures.

We have a huge neat partying hosting place in the back 4 decks 2 arbor’s and a big playground @ the top. This is the 1st area. Where I placed all my spray painted paint cans I bought for $1 a price @ Sherwin Williams. It made the party !! Along with the tulle fabric poring out like paint.

The cakes rocked !!! Where I live I have an amazing lady that I use no matter what she never ever disappoints.

I am a sucker for party’s that match through out. These candy coled drinks added some perfect detail.

I made white dipped chocolate Marshmallows with rainbow sprinkles. And added fun dip to the paint splatter cupcake cups i made it was perfect !!!

My husband cut me a huge wood paint pallet and I added the colors and wording loved this placed on a easel.

Part of one candy table was sooooo cute the paint pallet suckers were very good and I bought those @ orential trading.

Cup cakes on paint palletts with all the trimmings so the girls could decorate like they wanted to. Got all that at Walmart for pretty cheap.

Two wooden paint brush banners that I pained to match the party these were definitely a highlight and bought so cheap off eBay.

The party favors were so cute !!! I had paint samples and confettii on top of the table cloth. Paint splatter puzzles and lip gloss (orential trading).

Paint splatter hair bows I made with ribbon from etsy.

Bubbles and mini clear paint cans with gumballs.

And such cute cute cute paint pallets necklaces I made charms from etsy also.

Soooo cute paint brush rice crispy treats !!!

Plastic aprons for each child to protect from paint.

The pic above is the area I had set up for them to paint large size canvas and mini ones also !!! They did so cute on them !!!

The paint splatter converse went perfect with her outfit !!!

In the world of Pinterest its hard to feel like you can’t cook, can’t clean and it kinda makes you panic when you want to try a craft.

Don’t let it everyone is good at what they are good at and actually want to-do.

I enjoy very simple crafts that are cheap and DIY. It’s like a stress reliever for me. This little craft was obviously so easy but so worth it.

I picked up the plain coasters from Goodwill when I was in there just looking around and knew they would add a personal touch to our home.

I threw a couple coats of paint on them and look how cute !! They were literally $1.50. Even better right.

I like doing stuff that makes a house a home and to me cute personal touches around your living area does that.

All I had to have for this was paint a paint brush and the coasters !! Now I am addicted to finding cheap very cheap items and fixing them up that way if I hate it it’s okay.

So your not Martha Stewart? So what. Do your own thing and enjoy !!

DIY Branch Mini Craft.

Hey y’all happy weekend !! Woot woot I love weekends and they go by extremely fast !!

So that’s even more reason to live easy faster mini crafts.

My sister recently bought a new house and they are painting and cleaning up the yard like crazy people. She cut this branch down a few days ago and knew I would want it for something.

She was right… I now have the perfect jewelry hanger on my wall. Obviously this is so easy but it was so fun.

All you need is:
Branch.
Paint.
Cup Hooks.
And screws to hang it.

All I did was spray paint it white.

Let it dry for a little while and brought it inside to add a personal touch to it. I used a teal color and gold.

I love it !!! And it’s just a extra special touch to the house that I make more and more home daily.

I screwed a few cup Hooks in and then the hubby hung it for me.

Now y’all go try !!! And show me !! Enjoy it was fun and neat.

DIY Painted Mason Jars + Giveaway

Hey y’all I had so much fun painting these Mason Jars !! It’s so easy ! I will show you how step by step with explanation + a chance to win a set!

Jars.
Paint.
Glitter (if you want).
Spray glue for glitter.
Sand paper to make it rustic a little bit.
Sponge brushes.

That’s all !!!

1) Clean off the jars and make sure they are dry.

2) With the sponge brush, paint the jar. (Repeat this for about 3 coats. Wait 20-30 min in between coats.)

3) Using sandpaper or a sanding block, distress the words and areas that would seem to get naturally scuffed.

4) Enjoy ya’ll it really was that easy !! I know the directions seem small and they are but it’s easy so you can do it !! Just try a few tips to look at down below.

I did this whole set in less than 2 hours. At the end i did spry with a clear coat just to seal them you don’t have to but i wanted to protect the glitter.

Now a few tips & tricks that helped me along the way:

– A lot of people say paint the inside of the jars I did NOT do this I did’y find that it was needed.

– I simply put my hand in the jar it wouldn’t go all the way in i just put it enough to paint the whole thing and move it around a bit as needed.

– When adding glitter to the rim if that’s the style you want don’t spray the glitter on it gets all over. I sprayed my sponge brush with the glue then applied where needed. and then sprinkled the glitter.

– The longer they dry between each coat the better.

– When applying the 2nd coat you will notice a but of paint “peeling” don’t stress it’s okay cause on coat 3 it covers it up & then when you distress with the sand paper it looks like it’s supposed to be that way.

– I used three different paints two were satin finish and one was matte the matte one honestly looks and works better.

– All my pictures will show my setup and what all i used as well.

– All you need is a tiny piece of sandpaper… go over the words and a few areas around the jar VERY lightly.

– Anytime i post a DIY craft you can ALWAYS ask me questions if i’m not clear on something

Confetti Paint Chip Garland DIY

Y’all know I love crafting and even more so when its cute and so easy !!!

This is all you need for this weeks mini easy DIY project:

1″ hole punch.
Ribbon.
Glue gun.
Paint chip samples.

That’s all & it turns out so cute !! I did it all while watching TV.

All you do is pick the colors you want to use. In this case I used pink and grey.

•° Punch all holes.
°• Un-Roll the ribbon so you can keep it going.
•° Put hot glue on one circle and place the ribbon on top of glue. Then take another circle and place on top and apply pressure to secure.
°• Then move on to the next one. You can space them out like I did… or keep them close together which is really cute also.

It even looks better in person !! You could do this for every party or for anything that needed a little something special. Especially because you can pick any colors to match anything.

This will definitely be in a lot of my future projects. And it does not look cheaply made at all !
