Summer Essentials- What I keep in my beach bag that I can’t live without…

Ya’ll me and the husband are kid FREE in Florida this week it’s been so long I’m not sure I know how to act. I’m here for the sunshine and as much beach time as possible. Take a look what’s in my bag for a full fun day so I don’t have to go back and forth to the resort. All I need is my bag and okay maybe the…. Tiki bar!

Whether you like to lug around your summer must-haves and beach basics, a properly stocked beach tote is essential in promising you’ll have a fabulous beach escape.  

These are my beach bag must-haves:

1. Bottled Iced Coffee I’m a caffeine junkie I admit it!
2. Every beach bag needs a towel mine happens to be super cute and monogrammed (Hey I’m from GA we monogram everything!)
3. An assortment of reading materials is defiantly a MUST. Hello relaxation.
4. Sunglasses not only protect my eyes from the bright rays, but the perfect shades add a flair of style at the beach.
5. Suave Body wash is ALWAYS in my bag in case I use the outdoor shower at the resort… I’m good to go and my favorite scent refreshes me perfectly!

Pull together these beach bag essentials and tuck them in a cute tote and you are ready for the beach.

What items to do you toss in your bag for a full fun day in the sun on the sand!! I’m a gypsy beach girl at heart and when I go to the beach I’m there to stay on the sand!!

Hey ya’ll!!! Sorry I’ve been MIA for a while but be glad because there are tons of amazing things coming to the blog!!! New places I’ve been, tons of new fun colorful recipes & fun packed family stuff! 1 st I wanted to share my new obsession… FUN PICTURES AROUND THE WATER!!! the more I get to play and create these pictures the more I want to and think of new fun stuff! I have funky Flamingo shoot planned next. (so duh! check back!) Below you will find what my MUST HAVE items are what I use and how I create these fun images!

What all do you have planned this summer? Trips, Camp, sleep overs, movie nights? All of those are amazing and scream summer nights!! TIPS:

• Get fun bright colored goggles.
• Go under while shooting you can see so much better.
• Some cameras have a burst mode use it.
• Try not to get to close it makes it harder @ 1st.
• Find a fun mermaid fin.
• Have Fun.

I edit my shots in Lightroom just to get the feel I want but even when I don’t they still looks amazing so don’t worry if you don’t wanna edit who cares have fun and create anyway!!

There is no right or wrong way to get these cool shots just get in have fun and play!!!

We live in Georgia and it’s summer time! Every song on the radio is talking about a boat and getting on the water for some fun. We agree LIFE IS BETTER ON THE WATER. Having fun on the water means way more family time and everyone loving it that’s a win-win. It’s almost what I would consider traditions it’s our life it’s what we do.

Last summer we went to Key West, FL and rented a boat and it was worth every penny. Fishing, Diving, Snorkeling, and the views were to die for!

We have always been a family that loves to have fun and explore and having access to a boat gives us ton’s of ways to have fun and do new things, such as going on a san diego whale watching holiday. And the people you meet along the way are awesome to!

After this Florida trip we knew we needed a boat we always rent but as much as we love it and the time we spend on the water it was time. But I did some major research and the best place I found to help with that is DISCOVERBOATING

Not convinced yet that you need a boat that’s okay I got you covered see below for our boat loving fun @ the lake! Be sure to purchase travel insurance from a service like One Sure Insurance if you are travelling the world by boat!

Now when you get me on the lake I love having fun like hooking the water board up to the boat…. But my all time favorite is going to a neat water fall something just draws me in I love it !

Now go get on a boat and have some major fun!

     Prepare yourself for this greatness !!! Make this at your next wedding shower, birthday party etc… and everyone will be jealous that you thought of this. These are so good and grab the attention of EVERYONE!

What You Need:

Ingredients:

• 1/3 cup Strawberry Wine
• 1/3 cup Pinot Grigio Champagne
• 1/2 Cup Strawberry Simple Syrup
• 15 ripe sweet strawberries, sliced

How To Create:

1. Make a strawberry simple syrup by adding 2 cup of water and 2 cups of sugar in a sauce pot, bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Slice 8 – 10 strawberries and add them to the water and sugar mixture. Break apart the strawberries to release the juices.Boil mixture for a minute more then remove from heat and cover the pot with a tight fitting lid. Allow strawberry simple syrup to steep for 12 – 15 minutes. Strain into a Mason jar type glass and refrigerate.
2. In a large measuring cup or bowl add strawberry wine, champagne and simple syrup and stir.
3. Pour strawberry wine mixture into the individual popsicle containers to the fill line. Snap on the stick and cap pieces.
4. Place in a deep freeze or ice box for two (2) hours or longer.
5. Fill a standard wine glass halfway with crushed ice, add several sliced strawberries, add two tablespoons of strawberry simple syrup. Add wine and a Strawberry & Champagne Popsicle.
6. Garnish with a fresh spring of mint and a slice of strawberry.

I Got my popsicle mold for so cheap on Ebay and they have tons more.

These literally had people talking for weeks and they were so simple and I prepared them the night before. You can make your own changes if you like of even make them alcohol free if needed. I will be making these over and over and coming up with new flavors as well.
