Are you looking to do something fun with the kids that doubles as a snack AND a craft? They will have so much fun making this Valentine Snack Craft! I will be doing this  fun activity for my daughters classroom Valentine’s Day party! She’s in 1st grade and I try to help out and do fun things as much as possible they will love it!! And it’s so cute to see them all.

Every winter I have my sisters and the kids over for a hot chocolate bar party and we have so much fun! I’m thinking I’m going to start this little treat as a fun tradition also. I like being the cool fun aunt and this will add a cute touch.

This awesome fun treat only has 4 items which makes my mom heart sing! Easy and simple to clean up yes please!! you can’t go wrong here! and I didn’t have a ton extra so no guilt about bundling it up and tossing it!

This was so easy as you can tell from the set up above! and while we were making these it gave me the idea I can do this same type of treat for every holiday just change it up a bit. Like for St. Patrick’s day I want to use green icing and lucky charms.

If you decide to do this fro a classroom party all these items can be purchased very cheap at your local dollar store that’s where all this came from.

If yall are anything like me you have a craft stash? My husband went hunting this weekend and I pulled together a bunch of odds and ends to make 3 very cute garlands. They make the house more festive I even took one to work…. Don’t worry don’t have a lot of this at home? If not most of this can be bought at the dollar store for very very cheap.

When it comes to crafting & cooking I always try to do Pretty, Cheap and easy !

All of these were so simple and creating with my glue gun. 

Supplies I Used:

Glue Gun

Scissors

Felt

Feathers

Paint

Pine Cones

String

Glitter

Spray Glue

TIPS:

For the felt garland I cut a lot of triangles at one time they don’t have to be perfect.

I painted just the tips of the pine cones with a regular paint brush different shades of pink.

Hot glued the tops on the pine cone directly onto string.

The spray glue is very powerful so I placed the feathers in tin-foil to spray them and then added the glitter so it wouldn’t go everywhere.

Put tiny holes in the feather stems to string them on.

I glued the felt triangles together back to back with the glue directly on the string.

This was so fun and easy anyone can do this do not be intimidated !!

Who said Valentine’s Day is only for LOVERS ? Not this year check out this very Valentine festive drink for the adults. If your kids feel left out you can always just leave out the alcohol and have a matching drink that’s what I do for my daughter. It’s lots of fun and something special for you and them !

Ya’ll know by now I love easy and pretty treats this is defiantly one of those !!

Serve with a bowl of cherries on the side. When I make this for company and not just me I always serve it on a  white tray and it looks amazing ! So simple but looks so classy and makes people think you went above and beyond.

What You Need:

Ingredients:

• 4 De-Stemmed Cherries
• 1 tbsp. Cherry Juice (from canned cherries)
• 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
• ½ cup Grenadine
• 2 oz. Whiskey
• 1 cup Sparkling Water
• Stemmed Cherries (garnish)

HOW TO:

Instructions:

1. In a shaker, mash de-stemmed cherries with muddler.
2. Add cherry juice, freshly squeezed lemon juice, grenadine, whiskey, and sparkling water to shaker. Add ice cubes. Shake.
3. Pour into glass through strainer. Garnish with stemmed cherries.

How cute & perfect is this treat ? I did a trail run to cause I want to make and take these for my Daughter’s classroom party. If you love my other food creations by now you know I love EASY and PRETTY.

These will catch everyone’s eye !

What You Need:

Rice Krispy’s

Icing

Butter

Cherry’s

Marshmallows

How To:

Time: 30 Minutes

Serves: 24 Mini Sandwiches

• 3 tbsp. Butter
• 4 cups Marshmallows Minis
• 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
• Wilton Pink Decorating icing (round and star tip included)
• 24 Cherries

Tools

• Wilton 12-Cavity Mini Doughnut Pan

1. Melt butter on low heat in large stovetop pot.
2. Slowly stir in marshmallows until evenly combined.
3. Remove from heat.
4. Slowly stir in rice krispies until evenly coated with marshmallow mixture.
5. Fill each doughnut mold (approximately 24) to the top with rice krispies mixture. Ensure there is no hole. Press down firmly.
6. Using the remaining rice krispies mixture, press firmly onto a lined or sprayed baking sheet until you have a thin layer.
7. After allowing to set for at least 10 minutes, remove bundt cake shaped rice krispies from doughnut mold. Use one as a sample size, cutting singular circles from the thin layer of rice krispies (regular kitchen knife will do). You will need approximately 24.
8. Pair one bundt cake to each circle. Add swirl of pink frosting (store bought used here) to each circle. Place bundt cake shape on top.
9. Garnish each rice krispies sandwich with a cherry.

The Process:

So easy and fun !! Adults and kids will love these !
