DIY awesome Strawberry Sugar Scrub.

I went a few weeks ago to my local nail salon to get my amazing pedicure ! And they used what I am still thinking was a strawberry scrub. So I was inspired to make my own !! And thought it was fitting for Valentine’s day as well.

I’m thinking I may give to my daughters elementary school teachers, put in mason jars add cute ribbon and it’s a neat special gift.

Materials Needed:

1 cup Cane Sugar

1 cup Freeze-Dried Strawberries

¾ cup Organic Virgin Coconut Oil (room temperature)

1 tbsp. Vanilla Extract

Valentine's Day Strawberry Sugar Scrub Ingredients

Instructions:

1. Place freeze-dried strawberries in sealed zip-loc bag. Using a rolling pin, crush strawberries until very fine.

2. Combine cane sugar and crushed freeze-dried strawberries in small mixing bowl.

3. Add coconut oil and vanilla extract to dry mixture. Stir well.

4. Garnish scrub with freeze-dried strawberries.

TIPS:

Tip #1: use organic ingredients.

Tip #2: works as an exfoliator and moisturizer.

Tip #3: You can use fresh strawberry’s it just doesn’t last as long.

This is so easy and fun to make yall !!! And a easy clean up I even let my daughter help she is 6 !! People that are not crafty like us will love this for a gift any day but make a big batch and give to everyone for Valentine’s day !!

Let me know if you have any questions or thoughts on this that I may have left out see the detailed pictures below to get a better idea how your mix will look !
