My brother literally slept through the night in his own bed the first night he came home from the hospital and it took me only a week or so to get the hang of it. I love having that alone time at night to wind down and decompress… I never thought about someone feeling the opposite! We don’t have kids right now but it will be interesting to see how they feel! I wake up a lot when I sleep with someone else, and it gets really hot, even with just my husband. I’m not sure how I would do with a kid in the mix. We shall see though!!

I really loved co-sleeping, especially when they were babies! We got much more rest 🙂

We have co-slept with all of our children…my son still sleeps in our bed and I still allow my girls to crawl up next to us (I do not mind, my husband cannot stand it). I like to remind my husband that our children are only getting older and we need to enjoy them. I love them and they love us.

By the time she turned 6 months, she was in a crib in her own room and now she flails and kicks so much while she sleeps that she could never sleep with us! Every time I try to take a nap with her now she ends up laying across half my face!
