There’s a lot of cruel people out there, it’s so sad. I get judged just as much as the next guy or gal, it stung in High School and it still does in the adult world. You’d think people would grow up after High School, nope, the vicious cycle just continues.

I love this! Since having children I do look at the world in a better light, more compassion and with a view that the world doesn’t revolve around me!! But there is nothing worse than women putting down women, like life isn’t tough enough, and I think you’re right it’s about insecurity. It’s a tough one to crack but I think if we teach our girl -and boys!- early on to respect themselves, others, be compassionate and thoughtful and be happy in themselves it all goes towards them developing into rounded individuals who don’t judge and just as importantly can stand up for themselves.

I think it’s so important for women to empower other females around them. People spend way too much time putting others down…

There are definitely some nasty people out there. It spreads like the plague, but remember that kindness spreads too. 🙂 That’s what I always try to do–spread happiness and kindness.

How sad that the woman in black heels thought she should even say anything. You truly never now what’s going on with other people.

I just love that quote you shared – that’s definitely something I’m teaching my children. Your post reminded me of that quote about being kind because everyone is fighting a hard battle.
