It’s A PJ’s & Potatoes Tradition.

Traditions are so special to me around the holidays we have traditions for a bunch of them but… Christmas ones are the best !! Bet your wondering what in the world PJ’s & Potatoes !!

Well let me explain by now y’all probably know I’m not the best cook in the world yes I’m okay with that but the one thing I can and always make every holiday is Betty Crocker French Onion Scalloped Pototaos. My whole family gets together so I like to do my part and take a dish and that is the one go to recipe I have !! And easy is a understatement and its gone in minutes.

Give it a try its simple and has so much flavor.

What to get:

It’s only 5 yes 5 ingredients ya’ll !!! YAY !!

2 boxes (4.7 oz each) Betty Crocker™ scalloped potatoes.
1package (1 oz) ranch salad dressing and seasoning mix (milk recipe)
3 1/2cups boiling water.
2cups half-and-half.
3/4cup chopped red bell pepper.
1can (2.8 oz) French-fried onions.

** This is the regular recipe feel free to add or subtract what comes to mind.

What to do:

1. Heat over to 400.

2. In 13×9-inch glass baking dish, stir together both Sauce Mixes, the dressing mix, boiling water and half-and-half with wire whisk. Stir in both Potatoes pouches and the bell pepper. Bake uncovered 35 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

3. Top with onions; bake 10 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

It’s so easy and so good !!! And looks good !

Don’t use a different name brand in my trial and error they do not cook the same.

The PJ’S part is awesome as well !! Me, my mom and sisters are all very close and about 4 years ago we started doing matching Pajamas its so cheesy but fun and creates awesome pictures for memory’s.

    I love the matching pj’s! So cute and fun. I have loved scalloped potatos as long as I can remember. Although i wouldn’t add the onions or peppers, the other additions to your recipe sound interesting. Will have to keep it in mind next time I make them.
