Summer Essentials- What I keep in my beach bag that I can’t live without…

Ya’ll me and the husband are kid FREE in Florida this week it’s been so long I’m not sure I know how to act. I’m here for the sunshine and as much beach time as possible. Take a look what’s in my bag for a full fun day so I don’t have to go back and forth to the resort. All I need is my bag and okay maybe the…. Tiki bar!

These are my beach bag must-haves:

1. Bottled Iced Coffee I’m a caffeine junkie I admit it!
2. Every beach bag needs a towel mine happens to be super cute and monogrammed (Hey I’m from GA we monogram everything!)
3. An assortment of reading materials is defiantly a MUST. Hello relaxation.
4. Sunglasses not only protect my eyes from the bright rays, but the perfect shades add a flair of style at the beach.
5. Suave Body wash is ALWAYS in my bag in case I use the outdoor shower at the resort… I’m good to go and my favorite scent refreshes me perfectly!

Pull together these beach bag essentials and tuck them in a cute tote and you are ready for the beach.

Wow my skin tone and texture literally changed in like two nights using new day. I have tried everything for my dry patches and this is it.

The exfoliating Grains are perfect not to big or small.

My favorite is the sleep tight ! My face is so much fresher looking and it does not feel greasy as all.

Now the coconut Mask will have my money forever !!!! I have NEVER had a mask that gives me the moisture I need. After 20-24 minutes my skin truly looked brighter, firmer and plumper. I’m always a skeptic so I was definitely surprised.

Happy New Year Ya’ll !!! Now that we have figured out what we want out of 2016 let’s talk about what we wouldn’t mind NOT seeing anymore ! I have listed what I want to see go with 2015. Below are my top 5 !

1. I Like Big Butts & I Can’t Deny:

Yes, I even like big butts on a female and a few curves never hurt anyone. But come on !!! Everyone does not want a big butt and this is not their #1 goal in life. So all the songs, commercials, bigger butt panties & the celebrities need to take it down a notch. Not every small butt human needs to “eat a sandwich”. Love the inside not the out. I keep seeing “specials” for butt panties kinda scary.

2. Women Play Nice:

Ever heard the quote ” I’m not in competition with anyone I want to see everyone succeed”. Well that’s been my motto for years. I’m a woman that loves to see other women soar and over achieve and look stunning and can tell them so. Stop being so mean, catty, sneaky and secretly jealous !! In the blogging world you even run into this it’s very odd to me like there is power in women building each other up.

3. Oh I’m Sorry Did I Offend You?

So what !!! 2015 was the year for the American people to literally be offended by EVERYTHING !!! Red cups, old navy toddler shirt, Donald Trump, guns, white people, black people, pink people, police officers and the list is so long it’s rediclious !!! I mean the way I see it what others do is none of my business unless it directly affects me or my family. Do you really want to be the person that fights against the topics I listed above ? Not me !!! I much rather choose child abuse, drug use, homeless etc… Fight for what you love not for what you hate ! Geez !! And I know some people suck and hate to just hate but be thankful you don’t have to be around them if you choose not to, and hopefully meet very few!!

4. I Can Only See Your Eyebrows:

Ummmmm, maybe it’s just me but 100% drawn on eyebrows are very odd and distracting… (Unless it’s of course needed for like chemo treatment etc..) Its like when I’m talking to someone with 100% drawn on eyebrows I want to lick my thumb and rub a little off! I think microbladed brows look great though. My friend recently qualified in microblading and got some supplies from https://store.girlzink.com/collections/microblading-supplies. I can’t wait to have mine done! I love shaped and neat eyebrows and even some of the 100% ones look great but its still so odd to me! So maybe a mix of hair and drawn on could do the trick for me. Keep some HAIR please !

5. Entitlement Queen.

Yes, I totally understand sometimes we feel entitled to a pay raise, a husband that’s 100% perfect, parents that will drop everything to babysit, friends that will only listen and not talk, sponsored blog post, and so on !!! I am guilty of this as well but I’m trying to turn any of my entitlement feelings into gratefulness !! We are really not “entitled” to one single thing.

What would you love to see disappear in 2015 ?? I would live to hear I bet I would agree on most !

Like a needed another reason for TARGET to be my favorite store now a new product I recently added to my routine is coming to TARGET yay !! now even easier for me to pick up when needed. I get EVERYTHING @ Target why you ask ? Well #1 the products I buy there are much more unique than other places like stationary, toys and my neat crafting supplies and now ALL my beauty products & #2 the prices are amazing and I can get in and out quickly when I’m in a hurry. I’m 31 & picked this product up when I noticed my crows feet kind of early for that? well not really I realized. Especially for all the sun worshiping I have done in my years.

e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick: I live in the South and we love Lipstick. So when I feel in love with this I was surprised this is the only gloss I’ve ever used that don’t have that horrible sticky feel !!

e.l.f. whipped highlighter: This is my favorite summer item that I have right now. It’s perfect for cheekbones and looks so good in pictures !! This is $1 !!! That’s insane if I blind tested everyone with this product they would never guess. I’m now obsessed.

e.l.f. bronzer: This is the only bronzer I use now. I have very dry skin because I am in the sun a lot ! And with dry skin when you put powder on sometimes more clumps up on dry spots. Not this and I’m in heaven its perfect ! And never makes my skin look odd.

Okay so by now y’all know I live in a town about the size of a mini van. We have a Walmart & a Waffle House I know classy right ? Nah… I love it though… Small town living is amazing but not so much when you want new and “different” stuff.

So when I started blogging and meeting new people. I was blown away with the uniqueness of organic products and all the neat amazing things that people make and have won me over with way more than my items I buy online from Sephora.

I have a new-found passion for dream-catchers and the one I got my hands on from a small shop was definitely my favorite. Didn’t look thrown together and cheap. I have it hanging in my living room and every time someone comes over it’s the 1st thing they notice.

So when I realized I wanted to support small shops and try new stuff I went searching for what caught my eye and sounded amazing this is what I found:

The body scrub was simply amazing !! I have awful dry skin… But after I used this just one time I could tell a huge difference on my “rough” areas elbows, knees, feet etc… The smell and texture of the scrub was perfect I could even use it in the bath without feeling totally gritty but still enough grit for what I needed. It was the best packaged scrub I have ever used ! Will def be getting this again soon.

I also got a soy candle and peppermint/eucalyptus lip balm from Beautiful Mess Candle Company the lip balm was huge and I love it !!! it perfectly adds moisture and no irritation at all. The candle is amazing and even after it’s gone i can use the unique jar it came in and even leave it sitting out. Pretty frosted glass and an awesome wood top with logo. I never want to burn my fav candles i now weird right but i like to save them for “special” stuff and this is def one of those !!!!

I’m so behind in the beauty world it’s insane but I finally wanted to start trying all the “organic” products and this is the 1st company I tried. So glad I did !!! From Somasol Organics I got Lavender Body Balm & Turmeric & Neem Body Polish. First thing i noticed was when I opened my package I could already smell the amazing products. I use the body balm EVERY night I love to moisturize but hate feeling wet and sticky more so if I’m going to bed and this stuff is perfect I can put lot’s on and still be good to-go and it REALLY works !!! I could tell a huge difference with in like 3 days !! I’m a huge body scrub/polish fan but also kind of picky cause i want the texture just right if that even makes sence… I guess y’all know what I mean if you have tried a few. And once again amazing it works so good did not burn my eyes and even my 5-year-old daughter loved it !!!

Next up is the MAC DADDY of what I have ever used on my face !! Vitamin C Serum from JMA Organic. I have heard people rave about Vitamin C Serum for so long but yes yes ya’ll know I’m a skeptic !! But finally got some and I am 100% sold. I could tell almost immediately a huge difference my skin felt tighter, smoother and looked so much brighter !! My co-workers could even tell a difference. I’m all in and will be ordering again BEFORE i run out. I think what brand it is has a lot to-do with how good it works. Her website list all ingredients so make sure you get the best !!! @ JMA

I also tried the Almond Face Scrub (yes I love Scrubs) this was a different treat for me cause it was a powder based scrub you mix with water paste it up and it’s perfect. Did not irritate me at all this is one of my fav cause it feels very light going on and washing it off but does the job !!! So Excited I have discovered amazing new brands. And ya’ll these companies are amazing !!! Will take and answer all and any questions you have and it’s so much more special and personal !

Now last but not least !!!! My dream-catcher that I am in absolute love with !!! I have a new-found passion for Dream-Catchers and this shop blew my mind !!! I plan on collecting them all ! I’m almost positive I was a Gypsy in my past life or will be again when my kids are older and this fits me to a T !!! I have it hanging in my living room yep my living room I want EVERYONE To see it and they do ! When someone comes over it’s the 1st thing they see and comment on. I have a small collection of Dream-Catchers but nothing like this one. You can tell major time and detail goes into each one. It does not look cheaply made or like “junk”. She has one for EVERY style go see !!! @ A Tiny Little Triangle.

Everyone is different and love’s different types of things but these are my thoughts and TRUE views on my new-found goodies !!! Everyone I partner with knows ahead of time that I will only give HONEST feedback…. I am blown away with this groups talent and amazing beauty products !!!
