Is there anything more comforting than a mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter day? How about a glass of thick, rich eggnog while sitting next to a crackling fire? Guess what, it finally dipped below 70 degrees here in Georgia. Yippee!

You know what that means. . . I can actually enjoy all of the winter activities and traditions. Like hot chocolate and warm fuzzy clothes. I just love a mug of hot chocolate on a cold day, especially after months of 100+ degree weather!

I don’t always know when the craving is going to hit me. Luckily my 9 to 5 has Keurig’s placed everywhere. For hot chocolate, just heat and serve.

Every year I host a fun hot chocolate bar for me, my mom, my sisters and the kids it’s so fun and neat we love traditions around here. And this is always the favorite treat! It’s so easy and actually really cute that sounds crazy I know but I look cute and neat looking foods/treats.

Fudge Perfection!

Over the years my sisters and I found recipes that we each of us would enjoy making. They became “our recipes” in a sense that we individually were the ones to make it during the special occasion or holidays. This may be where my idea for having the kids take turns trying a new recipe on the weekends stemmed from. I loved having recipes that I made with my mother alone, it was a great way to bond with each us individually. From early on my favorite recipe was marshmallow fudge.

Time for a fun new unique treat ! People WILL want more and more of these ! Be different and make and taka a new creation to your next party, meeting etc… These are so easy ! ENJOY

Anything with white chocolate has my heart it’s always been a weakness of mine but white chocolate with all these other amazing ingredients are to die for !

What you need:

1 pouch (1 lb., 1.5 oz.) sugar cookie mix
1 (3.4 oz.) box Jello pistachio instant pudding
2 T all-purpose flour
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter – room temperature
2 eggs
2/3 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pistachios
24 unwrapped Hershey kisses

How to create:

1.  Preheat oven to 350°.
2.  Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
3.  In a mixing bowl, add the cookie mix, pudding mix and flour. Stir to combine.
4.  Add softened butter and eggs and mix well. Dough will be stiff.
5.  Fold in white chocolate chips.
6.  Pour chopped pistachios onto a plate.
7.  Shape the cookie dough into 2 inch balls and then flatten slightly with the bottom of a glass.
8. Dip the edges of each cookie into the chopped pistachios.
9.  Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8-9 minutes. (If you bake longer, the white chocolate chips will turn brown).
10.  Let cookies remain on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
11.  Gently press a Hershey kiss into the middle of each cookie.
12.  Transfer to wire rack to let cool for 20 minutes.
13.  ENJOY!

When Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are done and over it seems like yay !!! I can finally breath !! But then it’s a Debbie downer cause everyone is so used to planning, doing fun stuff and being surrounded by the best friends and family.

So this post should get you inspired for a little get together after all the festivities are done. When i had my Cookies and Coco party it was before Christmas but this year it’s going to be in February. People will be a lot more excited and less stressed.

You can do this party so cheap and make it so cute and unique. Add your special touches and have fun ! When i hosted mine i told everyone they should have on pajamas or something comfy.

This is a must for my party this year cute and simple all you do is spray whipped cream on wax paper and freeze then add to your hot chocolate.

Look how cute these are !!! These will be @ my little party also. Little graham crackers dipped in chocolate and then sprinkled with mini marshmallows im in love ♡.

Look at this yall and it’s not hard at all !! A mini S’mores bar that would give this whole thing the wow factor. A long deep tray with pebbles and cans of sterno can’t freaking wait to try this.
