Geez, what a week! Busy busy here with lots of running around and hours @ the gym with the kiddos, and lots of fun fall stuff, too. But now it’s over already! Yikes. I think we all need to just slow down and have a cookie.

I even had time to dig out some of the fall/Halloween decorations and start putting them up. That’s always fun. We just love any kind of holiday decorating.

I especially love seasonal baking. I warned you…I have a few more pumpkin-y recipes up my sleeve this fall!

These cookies are some of my favorites. They are soft, chewy, and so perfect with tea or hot cider. The secret ingredient here is the instant coffee – it keeps them soft and gives them that rich, spicy flavor that everyone loves.

Really !!! Already ??? Now don’t get me wrong I’m glad because fall is my absolute favorite time of the year.

But time is going by so fast it’s kinda scary!! Every morning when u wake up my babies look older yikes !! Pre-kids time whet so much slower.

I shared with you my last month goals and believe it or now I did really really well on those !! Go me !

So lets move on to September:

1. Why Why Must My Alarm Have A Snooze Button.

I suck I mean horribly at getting up the 1st time my alarm goes off. Now that school has started back for my daughter this is important !! Who wants to be running around like a wild chicken not me but so far I have been. So I’m making myself say one time on the snooze button.

2. Mom Turned Teacher.

Yep !! So far  rocking this but I plan to have study day with my daughter at least 3 nights a week and make it fun !! Below is this week’s sight words.

3. Craft Room Chaos!

My craft room is insanity right now !!! I bought a huge shelf to get organized. But that’s pretty much as far as I have got. I have ribbons, glue, glitter, cute paper and everything else possible thrown in there. Before October I plan to have it rocking ! (I will post a pic).

4. Welcome Home Wednesdays.

This past month me and some of my blogging BFF’s created a new linky party for all bloggers and DIY’s. It’s so fun and I live being about to connect with others this way. I want us to reach new limits this month and I will PROMOTE it way more. Goes live every Wednesday morning right here !!!

5. Twitter/Periscope:

My months end I want 2000 twitter followers so help me out click here and follow me. I’m rocking Instagram so I’m going to focus on Twitter. Then there is periscope which I’m doing EVERYDAY this month yikes !!! I hope to feel more comfortable on video in a few weeks.

6. Ca’Rin’s Canvas.

This October my daughter will be 6 !! And the theme this year is a painting party. I love planning and always go alllll out !!! I’ve already started making stuff but want to be about 80% complete by months end yay !!! Sneak peek in pic below.

7. Enjoy The Tiny Things.

This is my last but not least goal. I want to be about to just enjoy it all. Because school is back in full swing we are on such a tedious schedule its sometimes hard to realize how good I really have it. I want to soak up bath time, gymnastics classes, a new book, a glass of wine and just things I would normally take for granted.

I’m a all day coffee drinker not just in the mornings. I have a nine to five where I’m an administrative assistant. And then i have what I really love my blog. So I am definitely around the computer a lot.

When you get together with someone for coffee its special and its a connection. I definitely enjoy talking with my mom while we have coffee.

But with that being said I’m always busy so its make me super clumsy. I met an amazing guy at The Mighty Mug and i’m definitely not skeptical anymore. This mug is awesome y’all !!!! It’s cute, stylish, light and really does work.

I live in Georgia most of y’all know that by now. This summer was HOT !!!! I mean like burn your feet when your barefooted and walk just to the car. And here in the country we stay barefooted.

I am a true sun god and love summers but when its so pretty outside I feel like I want to be laying out in the sun, having fun & definitely not sitting @ my desk at work.

But oh fall is my baby !! Yep I love it all everything about it. It seems like the air is fresh, I feel better and the kids enjoy every second of being outside when it’s cooler temps out.

Something about boots, a cute scarf and coming home to cinnamon smells (glade plug in). It’s just amazing.

For the past three days its been storming & raining so it cooled off a good bit and at night it almost felt like fall !! I got all excited.

To me fall is major fun close family time. So many neat and fun thing to-do even for little ones. Hayrides, corn maze, bonfires, etc… It’s fun and everyone connects.

This is going to be my go to recipe. I mean just look how amazing it looks and will taste. I’m going to have this often and take to all get together. Just click pic to be directed. Caramel Apple dip with white chocolate yep I’m in love.
