People fuss & fuss every year cause so many people make “New Year Resolutions”. I actually love when people do this why not ? It gives you a new outlook & makes the new year more anticipated. If you miss the mark hey its okay at least you tried !

My # one resolution for this year is: STOP TAKING EVERYTHING SO PERSONAL. I never used to be this fragile and here lately it’s worse !! This is a major flaw for me !! It’s like with my co workers and people that I dont know very well I take everything they say to personal. It’s like maybe they did mean something by what they said but why do I care that much ??? I over worry about my job and what was said @ work, and in general need to toughen up !! How am I gonna do this ???? I have no idea except make a point to let it not bother me and give my self pep talks…

IMG_20151231_183033

One word for the New Year mine is ME yep that’s my word I want to focus more on me and do more for me and take a little more me time !! Sounds a little selfish I suppose but I need it and will not neglect any of my other duties !! So here’s to ME & the more I take care of ME I can’t take care of the one’s I live better.

MY MOOD/INSPRATION BOARD FOR 2016:

New Years Mood

What am I doing this New Years Eve ??? Have me and my family a little party matching shirts and all. Yes I’m only 31 but I have no desire to bring in my new year drunk I have had enough hangovers for us all believe me.

Follow along in the fun…

image
Fancy Cucumber & Lavender water for us can’t wait to try it.

image
POP the Champagne !!! Matching amazing shirt for me and my daughter

image

Shiny Fake tattoos & cute photo props.

image

image
Confetti & prize poppers for the kiddos to have fun and make a mess while @ it.

image

Shiny Tassle fun !!

Now I bet this is something you may not have heard of yet !! Key work being yet cause its simply genius. Have a few to many glasses of wine?, Going to a party?, Have a wedding to go to?, etc… Im telling you get a few of these to have in your purse or car.

That Little Black Box:
image
image
Lip Balm.
Band Aids.
Nail Polish Remover Pad.
Make Up Remover Pad.
Tylenol.
Hair Tie.
Mint.
Bobby Pins.
Green Tea.

And don’t even tell me y’all haven’t needed ALL that and badly ! I am now giving these as neat fun gifts. And only $10 even if you don’t crash @ someone else’s place and get totally wasted this is still soooo needed and would be great for bachlortte gifts.

Happy New Year !!!! I love you all !!!

Thanks so much for coming by my little blog it means so much !!! Please tell me you goals for this year & your ONE word for this year.

Happy New Year! Looks like you had a great party. I stopped making resolutions years ago. I felt like it was just too much stress. In 2016 I have goals as I am currently going through a divorce and plan to make a lot of life changes this year.

I am the EXACT same way. I take everything so personally and so seriously, I need to lighten up a lot and take things at face value instead of trying to twist things and making it about me or something I have or haven’t done.
I’m glad I’m not alone in this momma.

Work on your own self-love and self-confidence. When you feel good about yourself, they other opinions matter less. Find other things out side of work to enjoy so that you don’t get caught up in work stuff and attitudes as much. You can do this. Here’s to you.

What a great idea for a family party! Love that you went all out with the details. One year my word was ME. At first it kind of felt selfish but as the year progressed it became less and less so. Sometimes focusing on Me made me better at being all the other things I needed to be.

Happy new year Laci. I’m looking forward to getting to know you more in 2016.

Happy New Year! We rung in the New Year at home as well. The few years that we did try venturing at as a family never panned out. So, we watched movies, got food from our favorite restuarants and made cookies. Love the matching shirts. That might be something else we incorporate for New Year’s Eve of this year.

Sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves when we are so focused on caring for others.

My goals for the new year center around the word/concept of “completion.” I have many unfinished projects and plans, and I want to see how many come to fruition this year as I put more strategic effort into them.
