I’m literally tired every minute of everyday not over reacting. I have two tiny humans son 2 daughter 5 and a nine to five administrative assistant job.
I know a ton of working mom’s that do all that + some and still have more energy than I could even imagine.
So for the past month or so I’ve been sitting at my desk complaining about my fatigue and sending people to the store for my red bulls.
And trying to come up with some reason why I’m tired and sluggish constantly. Well I couldn’t and still haven’t but I have been researching all those things people sale plexus, it works, dite pills and so on and so on.
This Friday I almost signed up for the plexus “pink drink” but I said nope I’m gonna try to get healthy with tons more water and vitamins.
All those pyramid products people sell might be amazing but I was just wanting to go a different route.
I will show you below what I bought, where and how much of what I will be taking. This is my pure doing on my own no products or anything given for this post.
The vitamin on the far right is a daily multi-vitamin with triple the power its true I read all the labels and the pharmacist said it truly was amazing that people always look it over cause of the packaging. I bought all three of these @ Walgreen’s. I take them daily the B-12 is extra for the energy boost I’m hoping to achieve.
I’m wanting y’all to join in on my test / journey of being a healthier more energized mom, wife, friend etc… I will update my results here weekly to let you know what I think is working, what I think is not working and how I feel.
I mean it can’t hurt to try and get on a healthier track ! And I’m about 100% positive I need more vitamins. I’m always busy and I definitely don’t eat like I should.
I have read so much about Meca Powder I came across it when i was searching fatigue. And it seems like its amazing !! Today 7/14/2015 is my first time trying it. Will continue daily to reach the best results. I picked it up @ my local GNC. It’s supposed to help with energy and libido which I need a boost in both bad !! It does NOT have a bad taste.
This is how I took the Maca Powder today a blueberry/banana smoothie it was horrible haha. I do not like blueberries in my smoothies at all. I’m more of a strawberry person. But I did manage to get it all down.
Y’all tell me about what you have tried what all worked or didn’t I’m so intrigued to see what helped yall.
Thanks so much for coming by and reading what I write. Means way more than you know. I love blogging its totally my stress reliever.
I will update my results on this same post !! So check back.
I’ve tried Maca pills before for energy, but I also have a thyroid issue so I was taking meds for that. I’m not sure I saw a huge difference, but have heard the powder is a better form. Good luck!
I swear by vitamins, B12 is the REAL deal. I really love this post… also I see a Birchbox! HOLLA
I’ve never heard of some of these vitamins, but will be giving some a go-thank you x
I’ve been taking a crap load of vitamins too and they do make a difference. I’ve tried the maca powder but I didn’t care for it. It’s still sitting in my cabinet lol. I see you take B-12 in addition to a multi, I’ve been thinking about doing that just for an extra boost. I also take zinc, vitamin D, and a B-complex. I’m glad they’re making you feel better! BTW I love your blog 🙂
Ohhhhh I have so much to say..I am in your FB planner group and found you thru the gorgeous printables you shared! O
I’m Taci 🙂
Here’s my health story: Last Feb I was exactly where you are. I try to follow the Trim Healthy Mama eating plans because I need ideas and help for meal planning and I was feeling JUST like you described. I tried Purium 10 day cleanse and the products are incredible but I detoxed hard on day 5 and was possibly allergic to the monk fruit sweetner and got very ill. A nutritionist told me that I had probably killed all the good gut flora. It was worse than morning sickness- it was severe stomach pain. Purium sells other health food products that I’d love to buy later on but for me, I needed very much to implement healthier food. There is no shortcut, there is no need to go cold turkey. I started walking every morning and drinking water and I have to say that made the biggest difference for me. Just moving gave me tons more energy. You crash and sleep harder too so it’s a vicious HEALTHY cycle!
I do believe there are good products out there but at the end of the day you really have move and eat well. OH! check out Candida too- I know that’s a problem for me and lowering and limiting sugar has made me feel so much better!
Great site! Looking forward to connecting more 🙂
Thanks so much !!!! I am definitely going to try and walk daily to even if its just a mile. I used to have more time to move around now its just harder and my sit down 9 to 5 definitely does not help !! I have definitely been drinking wayyy more water I just make myself lol 🙂 so glad you found me.
Here’s some motivation for you: I saw a quote that said if you sit 9 to 5 you lower your life span by… I dunno but it’s a scary amount! Even if you have to stand at your desk- try to do that more than sit!! And I know it’s tempting for us momma’s to go to bed at a decent hour but we HAVE To be in bed at 10 pm latest!! Sleep is when our bodies heal and — — USE all these positive changes. Okay, we are keeping each other accountable!
Deal !!! Thanks so much ! I try and move around as much as possible some days I feel so stiff its ridiculous.
Note to self, do not add maca powder to smoothie, LOL!
I finally found a way to do it and I LOVE it !!!! Just don’t mix it with fruit. I now use ice cream milk ice and peanut butter just a little of each its amazing and you cant taste it one bit yay !!!
I hope you’ll post on how these Vitamins worked for you. I am also suffereing from extreme fatigue with three boys and a full time 9 to 5.
I’ve been supplementing with Vitamin D for the past few months & it has helped me a little bit.
I think I’m going to try the Vitamin B for sure.
Thanks so much for stopping by okay I have been taking exactly what I pictured for 12 days and I honestly can tell a huge huge difference. Mainly @ night I am now up for a few hours after the kids go to bed before I fell a sleep when they did. And I really can’t explain but feel better all over. Still heavy sluggish feeling now and then but not near as much !!!! I really believe it’s working !!! I will update again in a bout a week. 🙂
Have you ever had your vitamin and iron levels checked? If you are constantly fatigued I would really recommend you get some blood tests done to see if there might be something off there 🙂 This would also help with you getting the vitamins that are exactly right for you. I hope you soon feel better!
I’m also a Maca lover. I always add it to my green smoothies. Yum!
I would love to hear how this works!! I am constantly tired as well. No matter how much sleep I get it never feels like enough and I spend the entire say yawning and half awake. I was also told working out will help so I’ll try that too.
