Morals & Monograms my friend is a very real thing. My daughter is in kindergarten this year and they started back yesterday.
This post is from a hateful facebook post I read after her school orientation that said:
I teach my son morals, respect and good manners that’s more important than name brand clothes and monogramed schools supplies.
Ummm… Okay ? Well guess what my child has all those quality’s plus tons of monogramed schools supplies and cute clothes.
We live in a very tiny town so when people feel the need to be mean on social media everyone sees it and normally knows who its directed to.
I have a son and daughter & I I love to spoil them both and we get excited about going back to school. Why not make it personalized and fun if you can ? I’m not having anymore kids and I will soak up every second I can of the greatness.
So I started thinking about what the comment said on Facebook and kinda was just like wow that’s rude and in my opinion judging other people is not teaching very good manners.
Then the very 1st day of school a girl I don’t know very well posted the following comment on my wall:
My sweet girl helped a little boy that was having a bad first day. Made me proud and my heart happy.
So with that being said why do people expect us to apologize for doing special things for our children and wanting them to be dressed nice?? It’s absurd and this is a perfect example of judging people and being WRONG.
So here is glimpse of our back to school.
Orientation Night when we went to meet her teacher.
A cute little gift we got for her new teacher.
Where my baby will be learning this year.
Monogramed notebooks they looked adorable.
#2 pink is my signature color pencils. I kept one out for me.
Few of our favorite items we bought for back to school.
And for me to get me through first week maddneas that coffee is from TjMaxx and its amazing !!!!
What do y’all do to get ready and prepared for back to school. I enjoy it and love making it fun.
Here’s to an amazing school year yay !!!

The lady that was judging others on a public forum is not setting a good example at all for her children! So sad! Anyhow, I love everything you bought for back to school. Going back to school is hard enough, why not make it fun?! And those monograms on the notebooks are so cute. Where are the monograms from? We meet Mason’s teacher on Thursday and then I can decide what to make her for a back to school gift. I want to see her classroom and her personality before I decide.

I don’t have any children but I know if I did, I would do everything for them to have nice things. I’m not saying that I would teach them, that that’s all that matters. But who doesn’t want to try to give their children the very best? There is nothing wrong with that. I know that having cute things rather it be clothes (name brand or not), pencils, notebooks, etc made me want to go back to school. Your daughters clothes are absolutely adorable. That’s awesome that she helped a fellow classmate who was having a bad day. That’s what kids should be taught.

First where did you get those school supplies? They’re cute & I definitely need to pick some up for myself. Second I love your daughters back-to-school outfits she looks adorable. I think whoever made that comment on Facebook is wrong. Cute clothes or monogramed school supplies don’t make up a persons character by the second comment your daughter seems like a sweet girl who was taught the right morals. I’m in college and I still personalize my school supplies & think of cute outfits to wear on the first day. I think it’s what makes going back to school a little more exciting whether your in kindergarten or college and nothings wrong with that. I hope you and your daughter have an amazing school year.

i think some people aren’t satisfied unless they’re complaining. I think the cute accessories actually will make your daughter excited to go to school and want to learn more. Sounds like you’re doing a great job!

I can’t believe another parent would say something like that, and of all places social media. That’s really crazy and sad. Just ignore her. Your kids are beautiful, and you can tell they are beautiful on the inside too. Way to go Momma.

You can’t make everyone happy. And for the record, why should you? You baby looks adorable. I know when I look good, I feel good, and I make more of an attempt-so you just go’head Momma. Little Taylor Swift works here-haters gonna hate.
