Today is national thrift store day ! And I’m such a thrift store junkie. I love the thrill of what I might find and having to dig for the good stuff…
Everyone at work teases me and says my favorite mall is Goodwill.
Me and some amazing blogging friends have this group call the Thrift Store Swap. And what we do is buy two cheap items @ the thrift store and send them out the person that gets the itmes then has to come up with an amazing re-haul DIY project. It’s so fun cause you never know what your gonna get !! After we refurbish our items we will all post them so you can see the before & after ! Fun right ?
Now I want your ideas on what I should do with the items I received… I’m so excited I have some thoughts in my mind but want to know other ideas.
Item #1.
Item #2
I’m excited all ready !!! And I know paint will definitely be involved. Okay now go ideas please !!
Go see what my friends got and give them a little help to.

I LOVE the idea of the Thrift Store Swap; that’s such a great way to spark creativity and may even inspire some really interesting gift ideas!

This sounds like so much fun. I used to go to thrift stores ALL the time in high school and college. It was always an adventure.
At first glance, I thought maybe item #2 could some how be re-purposed as a picture holder using some wire and mini-clothes pins… I’m struggling with item #1…
Good luck! Hope you share the results!

This is such a fun idea! I am all about Goodwill and have found some amazing things there. I have also found some random things that I turned amazing! I have no clue what to do with the candle holder, maybe wrap it in rope and add some other color to the parts you see. The apple thing, I would probably paint all of it. You could do chalkboard paint and then have it be a list of meals for the week. Or turn it into a cook book stand. Not sure, but I am excited to see what you create!
