Okay so I’m now a planner addict. I have no idea how i stumbled up on this magical cute madness. But I’m overly excited that i did. This gives me a reason to buy stickers and pretty paper at 30 years old.

After i saw a fully decorated planner i fell in love and started digging on social media for more inspiration and there is a million resources for this. Facebook groups, Blogs, pintrest boards and tons more.

I jumped in to the planner world head 1st! Probably should have researched more but that’s just not how I’m wired.

So I’m here to help if you want to become a planner junkie. What to consider and all the details to get started.

First up to think about.

Looks.
Size.
Price.
Brand.

My all time favorites so far are kikki k and filofax.

They have the most personality and more choices than any other company i have found.

Please click banner below it helps so much !!

The 1st planner i bought was this red filofax domino A5.

I decided it was just to big for me to carry daily in my purse. It’s the size of a piece of copy paper folder in 1/2. So i bought two kikki k’s size medium it’s just a step down and the perfect size to carry daily and big enough to decorate.

My planner is divided up into my daily calendar, my blog and bills.

Of course you have to make your planner work for you but hopefully this will help you get started.

Next i went crazy buying supplies I’m going to show you what I have bought so far and where.

It’s so much fun and you really can make it your own with all the ideas.

Then i bought a load of washi tape, pens, stickers and project life items off Ebay and online at craft store like Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, and Joannes.

Let me know if yall have any beginner questions at all i would love to answer them and see what you have done.

Please feel free to share planner pictures here and links.

I will be updating every month on all things planner.

I love fun planner stuff too! For years I just used cheap ones I’d buy at the beginning of the school year at the store, but this past year I found on sale a limited edition Success planner, I think it is a division of FiloFax or some name brand and I have been loving it. I keep track of everything much much better now!

I understand about being a planner junkie! In all honesty, I’m addicted to paper products in general, but I would be absolutely lost without my planner! My favorite one came from Target and had a spot for your credit cards and stuff, so for a long time that double as my wallet as well and was the only thing I carried!

Thank you for sharing with us at #MommyMeetupMondays!

    Laci,

Love your planner ~ Please tell me you scrapbook!!!! You look like me several years ago with scrapbooking. Then I stopped and now I blog, my digital scrapbooking 🙂

I did buy like Lauren above a target planner and it is a tad bit bigger than the size of copy paper, it works for me. I am in LOVE with wide eyed owls, and have stickers the heck of it with them!!!!

Love your planner and how GIRLY you have gotten with it 🙂

I have always made my own planners with a plastic comb binding system at work. However two years ago I finally broke down and invested in the Martha Stewart disc bound system. I even bought the punch so I could make my own calendars that fit me and my family and just punch them in myself. I am an all out planner junkie and I am proud of it. LOL

I love my planner! It’s awesome! I’m actually a planner and journal addict as well. I collect so many… it’s ridiculous. I use an ARC planner (it’s from Staples) and I custom make my inserts. It’s divided into To Do, Home, Blogging, and Homeschooling… it’s awesome.

I love your planner bling. I should dress mine up a bit.

    Thanks for sharing.

I love planners too. Something wonderful about filling the pages. My hubby is always saying use the pc. But I would rather have a pretty planner on my desk ♥

Popping over from Motivation Monday =) HUGE Planner freak here! I just jumped on the Midori Traveler’s Notebook bandwagon. Realized it did not fit my planning style (I’m trying to be mostly digital) but it does make nice keepsakes. Doing a 52 Lists series in one of my notebooks. Be sure to share your crafts & DIYs at Two Uses Tuesday (Mon 11pm EST to Fri 11pm EST) over at Sarah Celebrates if you don’t already!

I need an excuse to buy stickers and cute paper! But I have a feeling they would just end up in the big messy pile on my desk……I try so hard to keep schedules. It just doesn’t happen. I do have a strange addiction to buying blank journals and planners though, I have so many that I just *had* to have because they were gorgeous, but I have never even written in!
