Okay, I have so enjoy creating a few edible things lately I have always been a crafter not a cooker. I don’t really have a specific thing I like to make. I see inspiration of something that’s easy and fun and go from there. I’m not a 100% healthy eater I’m ALL about flavor ! But hey if it’s healthy that’s a plus right ? This year I did promise myself to eat a little better and I did add a vitamin and lot’s more water to my diet so in all go me !!!

This smoothie bowl is amazing !!! And really so easy sometimes we see a awesome treat and think way to hard nope !! not now I’m all about easy and will give you step by step how to for this…. And not to mention you will feel full and energized after this.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Strawberries

Vanilla Yogurt

Banana

Orange Juice

Blueberries

Almonds, Oats, Chia etc… if you want toppings.

HOW TO:

STRAWBERRY LAYER INGREDIENTS:

¾ cup fresh or frozen strawberries

¼ cup vanilla yogurt

½ ripe banana

1 tablespoon orange juice

BLUEBERRY LAYER INGREDIENTS:

½ cup fresh or frozen wild blueberries

¼ cup vanilla yogurt

1 tablespoon orange juice

TOPPINGS:

Slivered almonds, oats, fresh strawberries and wild blueberries

 upclose

DIRECTIONS:

In a blender, combine the strawberry layer ingredients and pulse until smooth. Pour the mixture into a bowl.

Rinse out the blender and combine the blueberries layer ingredients. Gently pour the mixture on top of the strawberry layer.

Top with oats and almonds, plus chopped strawberries and fresh wild blueberries and serve immediately.

Smoothie bowls are so hot right now I never tried one before thinking to hard etc… but they are my favorite treat currently ! It’s def worth a try yall and you actually feel better to !

I think I could do this, you think it would be ok if I made it the night before? I love foods with flavor too, I don’t like anything bland it’s just too boring.

I love smoothies! Whether they’re in a bowl or a cup :). I use unsweetened almond milk instead of juice in mine to take down the sugar content and add a creamy texture. I also love adding all-natural vegan or whey protein powder to add some more metabolism-boosting and muscle-building protein!
