Fash●ion: Noun
A popular way of dressing during a particular time or among, a particular group of people.
What is your first thought when you see a toddler in a trendy cable knit sweater a cute scarf dark skinny jeans and knee high leather boots ?
Normally people think #1 Why kid fashion? #2 I wish i could dress my kids that way. #3 That kids wardrobe must cost a fortune.
Well let me help out with those thoughts. I love kid fashion because why not dress your kid as cute as yourself? Wishing you could dress your toddler trendy and fashionable but dont know where to start ? Stop wishing continue reading ill be answering that in just a bit. And now days trendy amazing clothes do not cost a fortune you can buy the good stuff for the same price you will pay at walmart.
How you perfer to dress your kids is 100% your desision of course but right now when they dont care what they put on and cant really tell you why not pick what you want. And dressing kids trendy do not make them better than the kids at school that dress in simple plain everyday clothes right now they dont have a clue and the kids could care less about what their peers have on.
When i was nine months pregnant with my daughter i went on a hunt for amazing girl clothes hey dont judge me thats the only fun thing todo nine months pregnant right ?
So while i was searching and digging i stumbled on to two resources that a lot of people had no clue thet even existed !!
#1 Aliexpress.com This is where i would say i buy at leaat 50% of my daughters clothing its so cheap she could wear one time and it would be worth it. The down side is it takes at the verg least two months to recieve the items. This site is a direct from china site. But i can say i have always got everything i have ever ordered.
#2 Now there is a such a thing called instagram stores. Its just like a nornal account on instagram where people post clothes new with tags and gently used. Everything is handled through paypal so both the buyer and seller are protected. You can find stuff you cant even imagine on instagram stores and there are hundreds of differnt ones.
I am a normal middle class 9-5 working mama and i still can afford to dress my dughter the way i want without spending my whole paycheck.
A few things to keep in mind to protect the bank balance is:
Who cares about labels and brands if you love it.
Thrift stores are amazing and sometimes have whats in retail stores currently !
Always check on Ebay before paying full retail.
I literally have a hand full of people ask me everyday if they can buy my daughters clothes when we are done with them. We have so much fun dressing fashionable and with tons of accessories !! And who dont love people making a fuss over their daughter i know we do.

Your daughter’s outfits are adorable! She is much more fashionable than I am, that’s for sure. I am a huge fan of buying my daughter’s outfits from thrift/consignment shops. Plus we get a lot of hand-me-downs. They outgrow things so fast, it doesn’t make sense to me to spend a lot of money on her clothes (though, of course, I still want her to look nice). Great tips!

These outfits are so adorable! I love that they are grown-up and age appropriate too! I also love how you do her hair. Too bad I have a boy but dressing him up is fun too. Thanks for sharing on Merry Monday!

First I must say your daughter is beautiful! I have always dressed all three of my girls in the same manner. People honestly wondered how I could clothe them on my salary but it isn’t as hard as it seems. Now that they are teenagers I no longer have a say in what they wear, unfortunately it’s nothing but jeans! Stopping by via the Mad Mid Week Blog Hop!
Wishing you a beautiful week!

Laci, she is so stinkin’ cute! I love these outfits. If I had a little girl, I would be in so much trouble. I practically have to bribe my son to get him to wear trendy clothes. He’s turning 8 soon. I’m making this post a feature on Traffic Jam Weekend. Thanks for sharing!
