One of my favorite frozen drinks at Starbucks is the Java Chip Frappuccino. When I need a little pick-me-up, I don’t have to drive over there anymore because I came up with this awesome homemade Java Chip Frappuccino and it is AMAZING.
Seriously, a little coffee and chocolate action is all I need to help me reset a rough day or help me from being exhausted as I run errands.
But, I had a conundrum–sometimes I want my little Java Chip Frappuccino -fix, but I’m not out driving around.
So, what’s a girl to do?
Make your own!
And it only takes a handful of ingredients I had right there at home. Who knew?!
What You Need to Make this Java Chip Frappuccino Recipe
Seriously, so few ingredients, but makes such a powerful punch of yummy!
- 4 cups ice
- 1 cup strong coffee or espresso
- 4 tblspn chocolate sauce
- 4 tblspn chocolate chips
- 1 tspn vanilla bean paste
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 3 tblspn sugar
- 2 tblspn chocolate chips for garnish
How to Make this Java Chip Frappuccino
Step 1
Combine coffee, milk, sugar, vanilla bean paste and chocolate sauce. Stir to combine.
Step 2
Add coffee/chocolate/milk mixture to ice and blend until well combined.
Step 3
Stir in chocolate chips.
Step 4
Rim glass with chocolate sauce.
Step 5
Pour blended mixture into glass. No tricks here, just get ready.
Step 6
Kick your feet back and enjoy!
