If you’ve ever been to a Mexican restaurant, you’ve probably enjoyed one of their fruit margaritas. And one of my favorites is the Mango Margarita. Way too easy to make, its so full of flavor, you have to try it.

There’s just something about the mango that calls out to be made into a frozen margarita. Like the fruit was just made to mix with tequila.

And this restaurant-style frozen margarita is definitely the most refreshing cocktail this side of the Rio Grande!

What You Need to Make this Easy Mango Margarita Recipe

Perhaps the best part about this easy margarita recipe is that it’s so simple. Just a few ingredients and you’re on your way!

I used:

  • 1 shot Tequila
  • 1/2 shot Triple Sec
  • 1 large Mango
  • 2 cups ice
  • Sugar for rimming
ice in a glass bowl, two mangoes, a bottle of triple sec and a bottle of tequila all on a white background

How to Make this Frozen Mango Margarita Recipe

Step 1

Peel mango and place over ice. Now, if you’ve never peeled a mango, you have to peel the skin off and cut off slices, because the seed is so big. Do not try to cut through the middle. Waste of time.

Step 2

Add triple sec and tequila. I personally have no preference for alcohol brands. I mean, I can taste the difference between different wines, but when you put lime and ice in with some salt and tequila–I really don’t know that I can taste the different tequila flavors.

Step 3

Blend. Now, this sounds simple enough, but you want to blend really well. I used my trusty immersion blender. Cheap little workhorse makes perfectly crushed ice for margaritas every time.

Step 4

Rim glass with margarita juice. You can use water, but why bother when you have a big-ole bowl of margarita right there?!

Step 5

Dip rim of glass in sugar. Just for that added bit of sweet. Mmmm…

Step 6

Pour blended mixture into glass. Kick your feet back and enjoy!
